The Maryland Public TV Project is a 15,000-square-foot addition to the television studio for additional office space, restrooms, and a state-of-the-art studio. This project included exterior-engineered framing and a rain screen system. The system consisted of specially designed panels that allow air and moisture to dissipate, while the green screen helps reduce heat gain in the summer months. In addition to the exterior systems, an interior system was also installed that included a Cyclorama. The Cyclorama is a curved wall that provides a seamless background for any television production. All project goals were completed on time and under budget while keeping the highest quality and safety standards in mind. This project created a visually functional space required for a state-of-the-art television station.
